Intermarium - military and economical alliance of that consists of parts of Eastern Europe and the Baltics.
Etymology[]
In Latin, Intermarium stands for "Between the Seas". The name goes back to the post-WWI political plan to unite some East European countries into one large country or alliance, which would connect the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea, and the Adriatic Sea.
History[]
Poland had been suggesting to form an alliance of Eastern European states starting from the end of the Nuclear War of 95. Eventually, on January 8, 1998, Poland, together with Belarus, Slovakia, and Ukraine, officially signed an agreement that established the Intermarium. The same year a few other countries joined: Kuban, Lithuania, Latvia, and. Estonia joined on January 29, 1999. Czechia and Hungary joined on February 10, 1999. Cortica and solviena joined in 2005 Ingria and Bulgaria joined on October 23, 2007. Moldova, Romania, joined in 2010and mol In 2013, Moldova became an autonomous region of Romania, which restricted some of its rights prior to joining. Since Romania became a federation, each Romanian state sends its own representative who together decide Romania's point of view on a topic.
