The International Health Organization, also know as the World Health Organization before the United Nations fell apart. That acts as a coordinating authority on international public health. Established on April 7, 1985, with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, the agency inherited the mandate and resources of its predecessor, the World Health Organization, which had been an agency of the United Nations.
History[]
Once Doomsday fell upon the World, WHO lost all communications with its Regional Headquarters. With Switzerland having contacts around the world, WHO made connections with its survivor Headquarters. With the United Nations falling apart, the WHO soon renamed into the International Health Organization working in Geneva. It now works with the League Of Nations, and still keeps its old Constitution which states. "is the attainment by all people of the highest possible level of health ." which helps all people, and nations. It also works close with the Red Cross & Red Crescent, and Medifleet.
It has been noted by historians and politicians for its curious distinction of being the last remnant of the pre-Doomsday United Nations still in operation.
