Th Jewish Republic of Israel (Hebrew: רפובליקה יהודי ישראל) is a Jewish State in the Middle East. It has a population of 17 million. It the only Jewish state in the world. This republic has the 13th best military and was a key player in the Great Middle Eastern War. he majority of the population is Conservative, and the Jewish nations biggest ally is the United States.
History
Founding
In 1881 began the First Aliyah (1881-1893). By the end of the First Aliyah, 156,000 Jews were in Palestine. In 1896 began the Second Aliyah (1893-1904). By the end of it, 215,000 Jews were in Palestine, mainly along the coast.
By 1914, there were 619,000 Jews in Palestine. That year, World War 1 began. In 1917, the British issued the Balfour Declaration, stating that they supported the creation of a Jewish state after the war.
