József Berényi (born 6 June 1967) is a Czechoslovak politician of Hungarian nationality currently serving as the Seventeenth Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia since 2024.
Berényi was born on 6 June 1967 in the village of Ekecs, New Komáron. In 1990, he joined the Czechoslovak Progressive Party. In January 2023, he announced his intention to run as a candidate of the Czechoslovak Progressive Party for the position of Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia. A federal election was held on 24-25 November, in which he won. Berényi took office on 20 January 2024.
