Japan is a large empire in East Asia. It has several sub-states, including Manchukuo, the Russian Empire, and Borneo. It was forced to remain neutral during world war 1 and is the largest surviving empire in opposition to Germany. Despite not being geographically or culturally near Europe, it has been considered a European Power and is included in all matters involving Europe. They have the most formidable navy in the world. It is suspected that if/when the next world war happens, it will be between Japan and Germany.
