The Japanese Civil War is an ongoing conflict in the Japanese Islands.

It is sometimes classed into two parts. The First Period stretched from 1990-1994, and was between Imperial Japan, Republican Japan and Hokkaido Nationalists. The second period has lasted from 1995 to the present day.

The Second Period is marked by the fighting of the terrorist organisation Aum Shinrikyo. The current belligerents includes the Empire of Japan and the ILS.
