John Major (born 29 March 1943) is an English former politician who served as the 3rd Prime Minister of England after the end of the Mosley Regime from 1991 to 1995, after serving as Deputy PM for the famous Eric Arthur Blair. He also served as Member of Parliament for the then just established constituency of Huntingdon until his retirement.

Major first came in contact with politics in his teenage years, when he joined the Conservative Party of England (one of the few allowed to exist under the regime) that Mosley himself had once been a part of. He attempted to join the state-controlled Parliament in the 1970s, but failed to secure the office and instead retired to serve in minor background offices.

After Mosley's death and soon return to democracy, Major made another, now successful bid for the Parliament in the February 1984 elections organized by acting Prime Minister Henry Leach. Only a year later and as the first democratic elections in decades came along, many members of the Union for Democracy were positioned strongly against Orwell's leftist views, this would motivate them to nominate Major as his Deputy, which helped to balance the coalition and giving them the victory. Despite their opposing views, he would end up agreeing with most of Orwell's agenda, especially when it came to foreign policy and to ease the path to democracy.

As Orwell's age stopped him from seeking another term, Major would easily become the party's nominee in the 1991 elections, which he won by a comfortable margin. During his short Ministry, he would set the trends that are considered to have started the economic upheaval of the early 2000s, that got England the nickname of "Tiger of Western Europe." In the foreign field, he would make efforts to establish good diplomatic and economic relations with the Henrylandic Commonwealth and Crown, having a remarkably good relation with Novanglian Prime Minister Paul McCartney. In 1992, Major established a trilateral security partnership known as "TCN" with both Novanglia and the United States, one that was already supported by his predecessor.

By 1995, however, Major started to lose support from the general population; this is to blame not only to a small economic recession but also to a strong campaign by the opposition (made up of Liberals, Socialists and many others) that associated him with still incumbent President Henry Leach, and subsequently with the old regime. Jeremy Corbyn of the Socialist Party eventually came out on top in the elections, and Major would shortly after leave his position as Leader of the Party. Over the following years, the UD Alliance would collapse and Major would decide to retire from politics, becoming involved with business, sporting and charity work.
