Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels (help·info) (German: [ˈɡœbəls]^[2]; 29 October 1897 – 23 March 1978) was a German businessman and founder of Hakenkreuz industries. He served as CEO and Director of Advertising from 1933 until his retirement in 1969. At the time of his death, he was the richest man in the world.
