Juno is the ninth planet in the Solar System and the second largest planet in the Middle Solar System.
Etymology[]
Juno is named after the Roman goddess of Marriage and High Queen of the Roman gods.
Physical Characteristics[]
Juno is composed very similarly to the other planets in the Middle Solar System. One difference is that it has larger amounts of water ice, making it more reflective than the even larger Minerva.
Moons[]
Juno has one moon, the only one in the Middle Solar System. It was discovered in 1724 by astronomers who named it Hebe, after Juno's daughter and the goddess of youth.
