The Governor of Kansas is the head of the government, and is elected by the State Legislature. The State Legislature began as a democratic instution, but it slowly became controlled by the aristocratic class of Kansas.
Military[]
The Kansan military has a small stock of former American arms supplied by people fleeing from the chaos in the east.
