Flag of the Khmer National Party
The Khmer National Party (KNP) is a Khmer nationalist and right-wing political party operated in the Western provinces of Indochina. It is the governing party and participates in governing coalitions in five provinces but was banned in federal elections due to its advocacy for Kampuchea's independence from the Federal Republic of Indochina (see Khmexit). Its main rival is the Khmer Worker's Party, a member of the federal Worker's Party of Indochina.
