King Domnhall ll (13 February 1380 - ???) was a King of Iceland, nicknamed the “The True Lion of The North” was a potent rulers with an eloquent personality, reigning for 31 years during which time the King of Iceland was greatly strengthened, during which time his realm was recognized by his peers, the other European monarchs of the time, as a power to be reckoned with.
Early Life[]
Born to Queen Guðríður and Court Chaplain Ari III Arason on the 13th of February 1380 and was the Second son. He entered the Militia and was the Captain of the Greenlandic Police Force for a time.
Reign[]
When his Brother King Arnar died he expected his nephew Domnhall (Later Queen Consort of Portugal Ferdinando) to take over but the Upper Council vetoed him and Domnhall was called to the Throne. He fought in the Welsh War of Independence and gave up Icelandic Independence for Scotland. He regained it from the Örebro Union. He also beat Scandinavia in the Epic battle of Reykjavík, in which he gained the nickname “The True Lion of the North”.

He had a wife named Bonne who died in 1407 and with her he had the following children before she passed away:
