King George I (George Washington; February 22, 1732 - December 14, 1799) was an American soldier, Founding Father, and first King of the United States of America from 1789 to 1799. He was appointed by the Continental Congress as commander of the Continental Army, Washington led the Patriot forces to victory in the American Revolutionary War, and presided over the Constitutional Convention of 1787 which established the constitution of the United States of America.

During his reign with the help of Prime Minister John Hancock, he established the United States as a North American power. Although the King had been deemed to stay neutral in politics, he tended to favor the Royalist and their ambitions. He oversaw Minister of Finance, Alexander Hamilton plans to end all major federal and state debts, an effective tax programs, and the beginning of a national bank

The diplomatic tensions between the United States and Great Britain had started to diel down due to the signing of multiple diplomatic, and territorial treaties.

King George I is credited as one of the Nations most important founding fathers, as he lead the country during the American Revolution, and would lead the country as king for the end of the 18th Century. He would be succeeded by his Step-Grandson George Washington Parke Custis
