Lorenzo "Larry" Gadon is a Filipino politician who is the 2nd and current President of the Philippines. He is also the 1st and current Speaker of the Parliament.
He suceeded Rodrigo Duterte after the impeachment of Duterte on May 31, 2021. According to the Constitution, the Speaker of the Parliament shall succeed the President; if the President dies, become incapacitated, or is impeached.
On the same day, he dissolved the Parliament as per advised by the Premier and called the general election on May 29, 2021
