Lev Borisovich Kamenev (né Rozenfeld; 18 July [O.S. 6 July] 1883 – 2 July 1948) was a Soviet revolutionary and politician who served as the Premier of the Soviet Union and General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1924 until his death in 1948. He also previously served as Deputy Premier of the Soviet Union under Vladimir Lenin from 1922 to 1924.
