This is a list of the presidents of Concepcion, since 1887.

In 1887, he was elected by indirect means (Senate and House of Representatives), the first president in the history of Concepcion, Miguel Ângelo Soares, from the Liberal Party.

During the years 1887 to 1901, the republican movement was growing in the country, until the Republican president Manuel Quintana proclaim the republic and the abolition of the Reserve power.
