The President of the Confederate States is the head of state and head of government of the Confederate States of America. The President leads the executive branch of the Confederate States government and commands its armed forces. The office of CS President has some differences from that of the US President. The main difference is that Confederate Presidents are limited to one six year term in office, while US Presidents can seek unlimited four year terms.
