The following is a list of Presidents of the United States in the Preisdent Tilden timeline. There has been one unaffiliated president, one Federalist, four Democratic-Republicans, four Whigs, 15 Democrats, six Republicans and 11 Progressives.
Of the 42 Presidents, six were from Virginia, three from Massachusetts, three from Tennessee, nine from New York, three from Ohio, one from New Hampshire, two from Pennsylvania, two from Illinois, three from Maine, one from Nebraska, one from Iowa, one from New Jersey, one from Indiana, one from Wisconsin, three from California and one from Arizona. It should be noted that in 1956, Dwight Eisenhower's home state is listed as both New York and Pennsylvania, so he is counted twice; once for New York and once for Pennsylvania.
