The Imperial State of West Persia is a sovereign monarchy in the Middle East. It was founded after the dissolution of the Second Sassanid Empire in 1712. This is a list of West Persian monarchs since 1712.

Empire of West Persia (1712-1951)[]

Shapur N/A 6 March 1779 – 19 March 1794 Killed by his younger brother. First constitutional monarch.
Bahram N/A 19 March 1794 – 20 March 1794 Deposed by Mohammad Khan Qajar. Nicknamed the "one-day Shah".

Boran Fath-Ali Shah Qajar 17 June 1797 – 23 October 1834 Briefly restored the absolute monarchy. Deposed after attempt.
Khosrau II Mohammad Shah Qajar 23 October 1834 – 5 September 1848 Abolished unequal taxation. Reformed the countries railways.
Kavad I Naser ad-Din Shah Qajar 5 September 1848 – 1 May 1896 Shah during the Perso-British war. Assassinated at Shah-Abdol-Azim by Mirza Reza Kermani.
Kavad II Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar 1 May 1896 – 3 January 1907 Created a new West Persian Constitution. Credited for trying to unite Persia.
Khosrau III Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar 3 January 1907 – 16 July 1909 Last Qajar King. Killed in the Pahlavi coup.

Yazdegerd I Reza Shah 16 July 1909 – 16 September 1941 Deposed Qajar dynasty. Chief-Commander in the Great War. Abdicated after the British-Russian occupation.
Khosrau IV Mohammad Reza Shah 16 September 1941 – 24 April 1951 Abdicated during the 1951 Revolution.

The deposition of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi caused a period of chaos. The pretender to the Qajar throne, Hamid Mirza, came back to West Persia and reclaimed the throne.

Ardashir Hamid Mirza 13 June 1951 – 12 August 1951 Reclaimed the Qajar Throne. Executed by Khomeinist supporters.

Khomeinist Republic of Persia[]

Betraying Ardashir, he executed him and declared the monarchy over and installed a Khomeinist republic in it's place. The republic was soon dissolved upon Shah Khosrau IV marching into Tehran.

Imperial State of Persia (1951-present)[]

The Pahlavi Dynasty was restored after the failed revolution, caused by the East Persian regime. Khosrau IV was restored to the throne, and the capital was moved to Ctesiphon again. However, the Shah was now only a figurehead. The government was now very dependent on the US and the West.
