Maeotia, officially the Joanine Kingdom of Maeotia, is a country located in Eastern Europe. It has a total population of nearly 550 thousand. Maeotia borders Khazaria to the northeast; Ciscaucasia to the southeast; and shares a maritime border with Ukraine on the Azov Sea to the west from where the nation takes it's name. The nation's capital and most populous city is Anapa which is also main cultural and economic centre.
