The region traditionally referred to as Manchuria, and now more commonly as Northeast China (part of the Heilongjiang Province), is currently experiencing large scale civil unrest.
In late 2016, it was alleged the PLA's then Second Artillery Corps (renamed into the Strategic Rocket Force) had deployed mobile nuclear missile launchers in the province. It was noted by military analysts, which analyzed the position of the launchers was placed in China's province which is the closest of reach to the continental United States. The same year, the Russian Armed Forces were deployed to the border to avoid a spillover of the conflict.
The Northeast League is a coalition of separatist and revolutionary forces. They have used several flags, seen below:
