Mod Update - The Space Race Begins
West Germany - Recognizing the need for a national space agency, the Deutsche Bundestag authorizes the creation of the Deutsche Agentu r für Raumfahrtangelegenheiten (DARA), seated in Bonn. The Agency's current short-term goals include the scouting of a suitable launchpad location on German soil that shall be used to launch an unmanned satellite into Low Earth Orbit in the near future.
US - we increase the budget of the space program to be 6% of the federal budget by 1970, we also believe that we need to go to the moon before anyone. And then to mars and Beyond. We also split NASA into Satellites and Manned Space programs. Finally we we build another launch site near the Texan border with Mexico.
UK/H.E.R.A we split into ten guilds each one looking after a different sector our motto is "each to there own on earth but united in space" the guild of development starts to design a unmanned space rocket with funding from all 3 H.E.R.A investing country's Italy France and Spain we also start secretly trying to make a race of enhanced humans to man space missions (yes its a cliche) hail H.E.R.A
USSR - Prepared to send the first astronaut into space in 1961.

US - We launch alan shepard into space who becomes the first person to ever do so.
uk/H.E.R.A we send the second man to space also we spend 4.2 bl on the first unmanned space mission only for it to be destroyed in a fire started by a soviet spy he is shot 5 times in the head and 12 in the leg hail H.E.R.A
West Germany- After much consideration the island of Fehmarn is selected as the new launch site, contruction will hopefully be finished in 1962. Plans on a new launch vehicle class based on the pre-war Aggregat 04 aka the V2 are on their way to be renamed Deutschland class. The German Bundestag gradulates the US on their succesful launch while remaining skeptic about the UKs claims.

US - We send more people in to space and we start testing of the Lundy Rocket. we also start the gemini program. Meanwhile we ask to do a joint satellite program with West germany (responce needed) to be launched in 1963.
uk/H.E.R.A we make the launch island on the Falkland's renaming it to Falkland delta planning 5 bases and and finally send the first brit to space and the first woman sending the janitor donna tour after she tripped and fell into the space rocket she somehow survived as the other two john copper and Benjamin cobblemaker both caching cancer in the year after the launch of Victoria also may we jouin the satellite program (also after the success of Eurovision a new eursiavision is made its the little things ) hail H.E.R.A
China - We start building our first rocket "Mao-1" which going to be build and probably be launched it by 1963
West Germany - Construction on the new Fehmarn Launch Base is complete. West Germany launches its first satellite, "Kepler-1," into LEO. Further launches commence across the year, carrying Kepler-2 and Kepler-3 into orbit. Confident in its abilities to successfully launch satellites, West Germany agrees to join the US's proposed satellite program, hoping for cooperation and technological exchange. Rumors suggest that the German Chancellor hopes to send a German astronaut aboard a Gemini capsule into Space in the coming years.

US - We hold 3 last Mercury missions and will start gemini next year WE ASK ALL EUROPEAN NATIONS TO SEND ONE ASTRONAUT TO TRAIN. We also look into solar power. We have completed the second launch site in texas and it will begin to launch rockets.
West Germany - The Launches of Kepler-4 and 5 are rather uneventful as the media begins to shift its interests towards the newly selected German astronaut hopeful, Kommandore Friedrich Obleser as he prepares himself for his possible voyage to space. Obleser has already departed for the USA and awaits training. German short-term goals include sending an animal into space, but these plans are still not fully realized.

China - Our rocket Mao-3 launches first Chinese man and women to space! Also rocker Mao-8 have launched first man to moon and returned successfully! Rocket Mao-12 should launch first satellite to Mars. Also we ask USA, West Germany, India, USSR and UK for cooperation's!

US - The international astronauts from europe begin training and are due to launch next year. we also complete space walks and are willing to cooperate with China.
West Germany - While the world anxiously awaits the next Gemini launch, Germany has successfully launched its first commercial satellite, "Telesat" into a stable orbit. Unlike the previous satellites that were only intended to stay in space for a short while before returning to earth and burning up in the atmosphere, the significantly bigger Telesat communication satellite will be the first recorded television broadcast satellite in the world. Currently, it only rebroadcasts special terrestrial broadcasts, but DARA leadership is confident that the satellite's programming will continue to grow over the next decades. Germany welcomes all nations to use Telesat for their TV broadcasts.
China - We managed to launch Mao-12 to Mars and Satellite send first photos. Also we are developing first ever rocket to go on Venus!
Message to US - Thanks for accepting cooperation request! We (China) are willing to send first satellite to Uranus with You (US) We can negotiate where launch

US - We politely decline the UK's offering and ask them to BE MORE REALISTIC with their claims. we also speed up production of saturn 5's. In other news the international astronauts go into space.
West Germany - the country celebrates its first full-fledged astronaut as Friedrich Obleser takes flight aboard one of the Gemini capsules. Footage from the historic event is being played all over the news, and many households have repeatedly gotten a TV set just to watch the launch live. A film loosely based on the events called "Fritz: Unser Mann im All" (engl. "Fritz: Our Man in Space) is allegedly already in the works. Meanwhile, further launches have shown the need for a more powerful class of rockets as DARA prepares to retire the Deutschland class in the near future. What will replace the aging system is still a mystery.
China - We launched our own space station! Also we are researching FIRST ever rocket and rover that would go to mars. The chinese which would first to step on a Mars is 明 李 (Min Li). We started designing and researching spaceship Mao-100 which would fly from Earth to Mars, then to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and go all the way back collecting all of needed information for next years launch.

West Germany - DARA has held a press conference today announcing its new Heavy Rocket program, known as the Länder class. These two-stage rockets, comparable to the American Titan II rocket, will be used in both satellite probe and manned missions around Lower Earth orbit. Construction will begin in 1967 and last until 1968.

Today, the Japanese Republic has successfully launched a rocket into Earth’s atmosphere. In the 1970s they launched a satellite, the Ohsumi, in the atmosphere of Earth, now today, a rocket launches into the air bearing the Hinomaru on its starboard side. The H-II Rocket entered Orbit and successfully went around the entirety of Earth and came back down off the Coast of Japan, in the Pacific Ocean. It was one of the greatest successes of the Japanese State in a long time. They hope to continue this streak of Success for many years to come. Here is now a photo of the successful rocket.
