at the moment ray kroc (in OTL he made mcdonalds what it is today) instead of seeing how it all works and then investing in the company, the brothers teach them how it all works and he gets obseced with the idea so much than when one of them was driving a car kroc blocks the road and makes him crash onto him all of this just to ask if he can invest onto the business but the brother screams "FUCK NO!" and goes as fast as he can to his home kroc later helped white castle make something similar to mcdonalds in this timeline altougth they make something that he wanted them to do: open more franchises

in 1946 mcdonalds changes it menu to have more kinds of food aside from burgers, as they were not successfull enougth when dinner arrived so when they opened the first restaurant in kentucky and saw KFC, the brothers decided to add chicken plates originally it was something for a limited time but people liked it so much that it was made something official
by 1949 they already was filled with locations on the continental west coast, the middle of american was well covered and already a bunch on the east when in 1953 instead of trying to cover the east coast, they went international, first canada but they wanted a certain market to be more specific: hokaido, japan during that time it was named "the 53 state" due to many businessman who wanted to go international starting in japan and settling most of their business in that island in 1956 the first japanese mcdonalds was open, by the 60s all continental states had atleast one mcdonalds

in the 1960s white castle was winning over Mcdonalds in popularity in 1973 Richard McDonald invites kroc to meet him at a shooting range and then go to his restaurant as a "sing of peace" when they were about to leave the shooting range richard took out a grenade and blew himself up killing kroc at the scene in the 1980s mcdonalds advertising focused that they were better at quality than white castle while white castle reacted to this by advertising their products being ready in less than 5 minutes similar to the cola wars

in 1980 whitecastle opened it first whitecastle in the USSR for the olympics wich ceased operartions in 1989 due to the second russian civil war, so instead of opening a normal restaurant they decidec to open a localized version called "uncle vanya" wich operates in russia and most of europe

the architectue of mcdonalds famous barbecue is similar to OTL mcdonalds with the exeption of it being more black on the outside and due to them keeping the logo there is no red or yellow, where the "M" should be there is the mcdonalds barbecue logo instead painted in there, the inside instead of having plastic "industrial" chairs and tables, the chairs, tables and floor are made out of wood (spruce wood to be specific), the ligth is provided by ligthbulbs wich are changed to christmas tree ligths
