The Din al-Mawab (Arabic: دين موآب, lit. "Moabite Religion/Order") is a neo-pagan religion, based in Dhiban, Jordan, found by High Priest Fouad ibn Wahba in 2010, who was originally interested in becoming a High Priest for the Din al-Ba'al (today the Din al-Kan‘ān), and studied under the guidance of the the Ashdod temple in Palestine. Its goals are to revive ancient pre-Abrahamic Moabite religion in the historical territories of the Kingdom of Moab in northern Jordan.
However, Fouad went to do more research on ancient Moabite religion, it is then that Fouad went to go established his own pagan order, which had also came to High Priest Bashir al-Ahar's mind, and was heavily supported by Al-Ahar.
The Din al-Kan‘ān's members and clergy gave monetary support for Fouad. Like the Din al-Kan‘ān, Fouad's new religious movement, which he named the Din al-Shamash (ديانة شمش), after the ancient Moabite god Chomesh, also received lots of heavy scrutiny from Muslims.
Therefore, Fouad instead, opted to set up his operations in Dhiban (ancient capital of Moab) instead of Amman, the capital city of Jordan. However, the order has successfully established its publications center in the capital city of Amman.
Together with the Din al-Kan‘ān and the Din al-Adum (Edomite Order), the three form the border Great Mystical Nation of the Levant, a coalition of pre-Abrahamic Levantine pagan cults.
