Montana is landlocked a state in the western United States. It borders Idaho to the west, Canada to the north, Wyoming to the south, North Dakota to the east, and South Dakota to the southeast. Its capital is Helena and its largest city is Billings. It was admitted to the union on November 8, 1889.
