Montenegro, officially the Kingdom of Montenegro (Serbian: Краљевина Црнa Горa / Kraljevina Crna Gora), is a country in in southeastern Europe. It borders Austria-Hungary to the northwest, Serbia to the east, Byzantium to the southeast, and is bathed by the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. Its capital is Cetinje and its largest city is Podgorica. Its official and most widely practiced religion is Eastern Orthodox Christianity. During the Great War Montenegro joined the Allied powers to gain some lands from Byzantium but as the War in the West ended but there was no sight of Byzantium falling Montenegro was offered to the Byzantines if they would peace out and thus King Ivan I of the house of Bourbon became King. Montenegro has a small army and a small navy but is allied with Byzantium.
