The Nantucket Commonwealth is an American survivor state conisting of Nantucket. Prior to doomsday, Nantucket was part of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,and was a popular vacation spot for America's upper class. Nantucket became one of the founding members of the Association of the Outer Lands, which is a loose federation of former territories of New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Since the association's founding, however, the tiny state has struggled to find its economic niche after the loss of its valued tourism industry.
