The Naso Tjër Di Kingdom, referred to colloquially as the Teribes, Naso or Tjerdi, are a Central American tribal kingdom which occupy the forested regions of the Costa Rican-Panamanian border range, the Talamanca Mountains, and chiefly the Teribe and San Juan rivers.

Having essentially become independent by default with the destruction of the Panamanian government on Doomsday, the roughly 5,000 members of the tribe continued their way of life largely unmolested in their settlements within the borderland jungles. International recognition of its independence and territorial boundaries exists in a sort of gray area, with the west half or its inhabited territory being universally recognized as being solely Costa Rican in sovereignty, and the Panamanian half often appearing within West Panama in maps, much to the chagrin of the local population. Nevertheless, the Naso Kingdom is usually represented in regional affairs as its own entity.

The Naso are noted for the curious distinction of claiming to be the "last uninterrupted monarchy in the indigenous Americas". With the region receiving few, if any visitors, its affairs have largely continued unmolested, existing apart from the world but trading with it as necessary. The Naso are also renown for their pristine preservation of their natural environment, with no industrial demolitions having been permitted. A few Costa Ricans, Panamanians, and even Americans found their way into the jungles of the Naso following the collapse of Panama, with many having elected the stay and marry into the tribe or raise their own alongside them.
