The National Protection Alliance (Swedish: Nationelle Försvarsalliansen, NFA) was the political arm of the Swedish military dictatorship that ruled Sweden from 1932 to 1946. It was established after the military coup of Carl Gustaf Hammarskjöld, and included many conservatives, army officers, fascists and nationalists. While some political parties supported the NFA, others opposed it.

When Martin Ekström took power in 1940, the party became more and more fascistic and more tyrannical.

Under the war, there where elections in Sweden, but all parties except the NFA was not accepted to participate. After the war, the NFA was forced to disband in 1946. Many of its members where also punished, and people associated to this organisation could face scrutiny and threats.

Today, it is mixed opinions regarding the NFA. Many sees it and the military regime as a bad thing, while some says that the intentions behind them was good.
