Neiliu, officially the People's Republic of China, is a nation in East Asia. It wa formed from the territory that the Communist government of North China held on after the North Chinese revolution of 2015 (AKA the Theme Park Revolution). They are heavily dependent on aid from Central Asia.
History[]
In 2013, the Joyful Dream theme park opened out side of Ningbo south china. Chairman Wang Jianlin of North China got jealous of South China's theme park and decided that North China must have a bigger and better park. A small group people were brave enough to protest the park. They said that North China was two poor for a theme park and that would be better to spend the theme park money on health care or feeding the people. Wang had the army attack the protest. This only resulted in the protest turning into active rebellion. The rev outs were further fooled by Wang forcing several peasants off their farms so he could build his People Happy Place theme park. By 2015 the rebels were in control or eastern North China. The communist party held on to the western part of the country minus Tibet where rebels restored the Dalai Lama to power and Uyhgurstan which was granted independence in exchange for much needed support form Central Asia While the Chugduo government prefer being called Peoples Republic of China the international government calls them Nenilu which is the Chinese word for inland.
Education[]
Education outside of Chengdu in Neiliu is of poor quality. The government claims there are trying to reform education to make Neiliu's economy more productive but the government is really trying to use education as propaganda to prevent future uprisings.
Economy[]
Neiliu's economy is pretty poor. The state budgets highest priority in order from great to least are one - military. two - surveillance, three - propaganda, four - food, five - tools, six - other. Neiliu can barely grow enough food (mostly rice and wheat) to feed its population.
International relationships[]
Neiliu refused to recognize the independence of the United Republic of China and Tibet. They are heavily dependent on aid from Central Asia. Neiliu agreed to recognize the independence of Uyghuristan in exchange for this aid. They are on good terms with Nepal and the Indian communist breakaway states.
Media[]
Neiliu's media is state controlled and highly propaganda driven.
Military[]
The army has taken a heavily blow since the Theme Park Revolution but is still strong enough to barely keep the people under control.
Politics[]
Neiliu calls their system of government Tianshang Communism. Tangshan Communism is a mix of Chinese Taoism, North Korean Juche, and Orwellian Ingsoc. The government is founded of mass Pal Ppot style purges to get rid of dissent and keep the population small and easy to mange. The government has killed most of its older citizens because they been subject to has much brain washing propaganda as younger people.
