Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller (July 8, 1908 – December 26, 1991), sometimes referred to by his nickname Rocky, was a Columbian businessman and politician who served as the 34th president of the United States from 1965 to 1973. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 49th governor of New Netherland from 1957 to 1965.
