New Brunswick (NB) is a province of Canada located in the ''Atlantic'' portion of the country, admitted to the Confederation as the 3rd province on July 1, 1867. It shares an international border with the nation of Quebéc to the north, and the Provinces of Prince Edward Island to the northeast, and Nova Scotia southeast. It is reffered to by locals as ''the Picture Province''.
