The New People, New Progress summit was a conference held in Tenochtitlan. It dealt with topics such as climate change, sustainable development and new ecologically friendly sources of energy. The state leaders of the United States and the Aztec Empire participated, in addition to representatives from other Western Bloc nations. The conference is considered one of the most influential events of the 21st Century.

The Aztec Empire and the USA came to several disagreements regarding political reform and immigration during the conference, and for a short time many believed the long-time allies would declare a split. However, both nations soon reached agreements and their economic and military alliance, however damaged, remained intact. Over time the relationship between the two would heal and return to what it had been.
