Nintendo Playstation is a console made by Nintendo that is part of the fourth generation of video games and was released worldwide through 1990 and 1991. It competed with the Sega Universe, Atari 8000,and the Apple iPlay.
Expanding upon the Nintendo Hyper-System's popularity(and adding backwards compatibility with the console's games), it became another success for Nintendo, as it was well received and was the highest selling console from 1991 to 1995.
