The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is a professional hockey league with franchises located in Canada (8), Winnipeg (2) and the United States (20). With its headquarters in New York City, the NAHL is considered to be one of the most premier hockey leagues in the world, and one of the four major leagues in the US, Canada, and Winnipeg. The winner of the league is given the McDonald Cup, the oldest professional sports trophy in North America. The most recent champions are the Boston Bruins.
