North Japan (officially the People's Republic of Japan; japanese: 日本人民共和国; transl: Nihon jinmin kyōwakoku) is an island country in East Asia located in the Pacific Ocean. Tokyo is its capital and largest city, it is limited to the south by the Republic of Japan (South Japan), the countries are divided since 1956 by the Militarized East Line (東部軍事線), each state recognizes the sovereignty of the other, however, do not have embassies or consulates among themselves, nor official diplomatic relations.
