The Kingdom of Norway, commonly known as Norway, is a country in Northern Europe that borders the North Sea and the Alanatic Ocean and via some of its Antartic claims the Southern Ocean. Mainland Norway is bordered by two countries which are Sweden and Finland while Queen Ebba Land borders New Swabia (Germany) and Australia. They share maritime borders with Denmark and the Soviet Union through the detached Kola Peninsula. The total land area of Norway is 124,774 square miles (323,162 km2), making it the seventh biggest country in Europe by land area and the thirty eighth in the World. With an estimated 2023 population of almost 5 million people, that makes it the twenty-third most populated country in Europe, and one-hundred and seventh most-populated in the World.
Norway has the world's fifty-fourth largest economy by nominal gross domestic product (GDP), and the eleventh-largest by purchasing power parity. It is ranked thirty-fifth globally in military expenditure. Norway is a member of PATO while being a founding member of the OUN and IMF. Norway is in the process of joining the Strasbourg Pact as they are already a member of the ACFTA. Norway is a constitutional monarchy with a Monarch and Prime Minister. Their parliament is the Storting which is a unicameral which means it does not have a upper or lower house unlike the United States or United Kingdom which does have a upper and a lower house.
