On October 8, 2005, þe imperial residence of þe Palace of Blachernae as well as þe Hippodrome were targeted by Turkic extremist group Turkic Liberation Organization. It was a part of þe larger Turkish Rebellion, a civil war[1][2] lasting from 2004-2005, and was what caused Rhomania's entrance into þe War on Terror. Several attacks took place only hours apart; one on þe Hippodrome, one on Blachernae, one on þe Hagia Sophia and þe Great Palace complex. Þe terrorists' motives were to destabilize Rhomania and give þe Turkic Þeme independence, boþ of which failed.[3]

Turkestan hired secret terrorists as a part of þeir military in early 2005, and, after monþs of training, were sent to Rhomania by Turkic Padish Said Alimi, leading to þe Roman Invasion of Turkestan.
