An underground group of militants in the Eiran Republic. It was formed as a self-defence association after the revolution to protect the protestant population of Ireland against jacobins mob actions. With time, it developed a political platform calling for an independent nation in the northern part of the island.
Over the years, the OSA has been blamed for many act of arson, kidnapping and sabotage and is considered an illegal organisation although the Orangist Party (its public face) is not.
