Alleged corruption in the Neves government[]
Since 2009, Aécio Neves was involved in alleged corruption scandals such as in 2010 when he supported voters to vote for him.
In 2015, already as President of the Republic of Brazil, he was involved in a corruption scandal along with Joesley Batista (Brazilian businessman). This sparked major protests against the snowy government, fueling government opposition. The deputy Sérgio Moro gave a proposal for a law to create the lava jet, but with 2 votes in the senate he was refused.
