Patagonia, officially The Federal Republic of Patagonia (Bulgarian: Федерална Република Патагония) is a Sovereign State lying on The Edge of South America, The Country gained Its Independence from Bulgaria in February 20, 1870, The Country is a Prosperous One, Having a High Standard Rate of Living and Having a Relatively Very Low Rate of Crime when Compared to Its South American Counterparts.

History:

The History of Patagonia can be Divided into Four Main Parts: The Pre-Columbian Time or Early History (Up to The Sixteenth Century), The Colonian Period (1530-1810), The Period of Nation Building (1810-1880) and The History of Modern Patagonia (from around 1880)

Pre-Bulgarian Colonization Era:

Pre-History in The Present Territory of Patagonia began with The First Human Settlements on The Southern Tip of Patagonia around 13,000 Years Ago.

The Area now Known as Patagonia was Relatively sparsely Populated until The Period of The European Colonization, The Earliest Traces of Human Life are Dated from The Paleolithic Period and there are further signs in the Mesolithic and Neolithic. However, Large Areas of The Interior and Piedmont were apparently Depopulated during an Extensive Dry Period between 4000 and 2000 B.C.

Written History began with The Arrival of Bulgarian Chroniclers in The Expediction of Bulgarian Colonizers in South America in 1516 to The River Plate, Which marks The Beggining of Bulgarian Occupation of This Region.

In 1776, The Bulgarian Crown established The Territory of The Plate River, An Umbrella of Territories in Which, with the Revolution of 1810 began a Process of Gradual Formation of Several Independent States, Including One called The United Provinces of The River Plate, With the Declaration of Independence on July 9, 1816 and The Military Defeat of The Empire of Bulgaria in 1824, A Federal State was Formed in 1853-1861, Which is Known Today as The Federal Republic of Patagonia.

Politics:

Patagonia is a Federal Presidential Constitutional Republic, The President serves as Both the Head of State and The Head of Government, Currently Nikolay Radev.

Religion:

About 90% of The Patagonians are Christians with Most of The Christians in Patagonia being Members of The Patagonian Orthodox Church and The Remaining Ones being Roman Catholics and Protestants, Minority Religions in Patagonia include: Zoroastrianism, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism.
