Pax Europa is a map game, set in the modern era, where the world is falling into an abyss of total war- and only you can prevent it. The year is 2030, and there have been increasing tensions between the West and Russia. You can play as either a Western or Eastern country in Europe, and save the globe from experiencing WW3- or start it. Good luck, commander!

Rules of the Game[]

1. General[]

  1. Do not vandalise or edit without permission this or any other Pax Europa pages.
  2. Do not use inappropriate names for countries, cities or anything else you are able to name.
  3. Do not troll whilst a game is in session.
  4. If you want to play, find a spare country. If you want to complain, don't find a spare country.
  5. Use our talk page to ask questions about the game, or general chat related to Pax Europa.
  6. Follow all rules of the AltHistory wiki.

2. Roleplay & Realism[]

  1. All stats of the game must be realistic- an army with 2 trillion soldiers is not only not allowed, but is unrealistic.
    1. All military stats must not exceed 3,000,000 (3 million).
    2. All economic stats must not exceed 2,000,000,000,000 (2 trillion).
    3. Population must not exceed 150,000,000 (150 million).
    4. All other stats must not exceed 10 words.
  2. If you don't have an air force, don't say you bombed a city. If you don't have a navy, don't land marines anywhere. If you don't have an army, don't attack anywhere.
  3. Remember, this is your country, but the moderators, in the name of realism, may step in if we believe things are getting out of hand.
  4. If you have a single soldier, don't say you took London in one night.
  5. Secret treaties (treaties and alliances not formally announced) are not allowed.

How to play[]

Hello! Would you like to start playing Pax Europa? If you do, then follow the instructions below to sign up.

To begin, go down to the New Countries section and click "Edit" or "Edit Source". It will take you to the editor. If you are not on Source Editor, click at the top to get a dropdown, and select Source Editor. Copy and paste this template underneath the last person's stats:

'''[Insert country name here. It can be made up, as long as it can easily be identified on a map. i.e "People's Socialist Republic of France]."

*Name of Country: [Name of your Country]

*Population: [0- 150,000,000]

*Head of State: [Fictitious name of head of state. You may choose a real name if you wish.]

*Head of Government: [Fictitious name of head of government- if your HOG is the same as HOS, put the same name as your HOS. You may choose a real name if you wish.]

*Government type: [See Political System].

*Economic GDP: [See Roleplay and Realism on limits of these stats.]

*Armed Forces full personnel strength:

**Army full personnel strength: [If you do not have an army, say 0].

**Navy full strength: [For landlocked states, say Landlocked. Note that these are just sailors; not ships.]

**Air Force full strength: [If you do not have an air force, say 0. Note that these are just pilots; not aircraft.]

*Military Doctrine: [Infantry, Naval, Aerial, Armoured, or Neutrality.]

*Military Economy: [Limited (only using 1% or below of GDP), Regular (only using 1-2% of GDP), Emergency (using 2%+ of your GDP). For any of them, state the percentage GDP.]

Military supplies: [Each soldier/sailor/pilot costs 2,000 of your money to maintain. Say how much money you are spending on supplies for them. You can have some soldiers underequipped- but in battle, you may not use them. Don't fabricate numbers- it's very easy to whip out a calculator.]

Then fill it out as instructed, keeping in mind the rules on Realism.

Playing[]

Game sessions may happen at any point- this is so anyone with any timezone may join in. To play, make a new heading as follows:

"Turn [number after the last heading's number]: [Your wiki username], playing as [your country]."

Then number out everything you do, such as:

  1. I declare war on Germany.
  2. I send 100,000 of my infantry to occupy Munich.
  3. I order a bombing raid over Berlin with 10 of my bombers.
  4. Etc.

Countries may do anything from deploy troops, to issue diplomatic messages, to announce alliances. Note that if you're going to invade, state the geographical location, so that the map can be easily modified. I will remind those who do not.

New Countries[]

Put your country stats below.

Modifying the map[]

Every 5 turns, I will find whether there have been any geographical changes. If there is, I will add them to the map, and issue it at the Maps section.

Let's play![]

Without further ado, let's begin! Start by making a new heading under this one with the template stated above, and begin!
