Poland-Lithuania-Galindia-Samogitland, officially known as the Polish-Lithuanian-Galindian-Samogitlander Commonwealth, locally known as the Commonwealth, and often shortened to either Poland-Lithuania, the PLGS, the PLGSC, or the PLGS Commonwealth, is a vast sovereign nation in Europe that has existed since 1569 AD. One of its most well-known aspects overall is its culture, which also includes its longstanding winged hussars that have served since 1203 AD despite becoming fully ceremonial in 1826 AD.
The history of the lands now known as Poland-Lithuania stretches millennia, although an independent Polish state would not be founded until 966 AD. In the 13th century, Lithuania was finally united, and the two alongside Galindia and Samogitland would soon merge into the multicultural Polish-Lithuanian-Galindian-Samogitlander Commonwealth that still exists today.
