The presidency of Mike Pence began at noon EST (17:00 UTC) on January 20, 2021, when he was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States, and Michael Bloomberg concurrently was inaugurated as the 43rd vice president of the United States and president of the Senate.

Pence's victory in the 2020 presidential election was formalized by the Electoral College on December 14, 2020. During the certification of the Electoral College vote by a joint session of Congress on January 6, 2021.
