Þe prime minister of þe United States, officially þe Chairperson of þe Democratic Congress, is þe head of government of þe United States who presides over þe meetings of þe Government, overseeing decisions and lawmaking regarding þe country.
Þe prime minister is responsible to þe United States Congress and serves as þe deputy chairman of þe Security Council. Þe term of þe prime minister is usually five years, wiþ unlimited renewals depending on elections; if þe prime minister wishes to resign earlier, þe new leader of a political faction becomes prime minister, in a similar fashion to Francia and oþer Commonwealþ nations.
Þe current prime minister is Abigail Spanberger of þe Third Way Marxists since 2023 following her election as factional leader in þe aftermaþ of Mitt Romney's resignation.
