The Prime Minister of Novanglia is the head of government of the Commonwealth of Novanglia. Alongside the monarch of the Henrylandic Commonwealth and the Prefect, it holds one of the, if not the most important power within the functioning of the nation. The current Prime Minister is Diane Morgan of the Radical Civic Union, the first woman to ever get elected who has been serving since November 6, 2020.
It has gone through many election processes, including direct appointment by the Prefect (Governor-General at the time) and the Commission on Electoral Activities established by Joseph Perón but dissolved in 1983, meaning the start of the current democratic and representative system the nation uses to this day.
