Prince Edward Island (PEI or P.E.I.; French: Île-du-Prince-Édouard; Spanish: Isla del Príncipe Eduardo) is one of twelve provinces of Canada. It consists of its namesake island, as well as several smaller ones. It is one of three provinces that comprise the Maritimes and one of four that comprise North-Atlantic Canada.
