Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, S.A., commonly known as RTP, English name: Radio and Television of Portugal, is Portugal's public service broadcasting organization. It operates 12 national terrestrial television channels and four national radio channels, as well as regional services and a network of international channels in Portuguese and several other languages.
RTP claims itself as being "a broadcaster of the highest standard of quality", it has produced a lot of critically-acclaimed television series in the Portuguese and English languages.
RTP is a state-owned corporation funded by television advertising revenues, government grants, and the taxa de contribuição audiovisual (broadcasting contribution tax), which is incorporated in electricity bills. Until the early 90s, there was a special television tax, but was abolished following media reforms.

Radio is operated by Emissora Nacional, who merged with RTP in 2004.
- EN Rádio 1: The oldest station of the Emissora Nacional network.
- EN Rádio 2: dedicated to the high arts, world music, opera, literature and the like

- Radio One: Mix of EN Rádio 1 with EN Rádio 4 in English
- Radio Portugal: separate from EN Internacional, in which it targets international audiences with programs in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and Mandarin.

- RTP Internacional: international service targeting the Portuguese diaspora, it claims to be the most widely-available channel in the language worldwide
- RTP World: English-language news and entertainment channel, dedicated to the projection of the "real Portugal". It also shows programs in other languages occasionally.
- RTP China: new service targeting China, Hong Kong and Macau, in Portuguese, Mandarin and Cantonese. The channel is subject to SARFT regulations.
