Introduction[]
Red December is a Militant Pacifist organisation, and is one of the few such organisations which attacks widespread weaponry and not just particular fields of weaponry. It is then further characterised by its far-left ideology, and is interpreted by some to be a Soviet underground group. It was formed sometime in 1954 at the end of the Korean War.
History behind the name[]
According to its founding members, "Red December" is in reference to the 1941 December attacks by Albert Einstein and Edgar Taylor which signalled the start of Militant Pacifism as a recognised Ideology. The "Red" comes from their "obvious" far-left political leanings.
Legal Status in 2009[]
Red December is banned by UN member states in the United States and Imperial Japan spheres of influence.
