A New Nation:[]

After The Second Chinese Civil War even though the People were happy there’s was a whole lot of things to get done. As a thank you to the Japanese Empire, China Recognized Japanese owner ship over Taiwan. The Imperial family was allowed to keep 1 square Mile of farmland. The Imperial Family managed to regain small power which allowed them to choose the Sushan Senator and once Li Maona served 3 years.

Li Zongren’s Presidency:[]

Li’s presidency began with a very progressive note when he gave Women equal pay in order to decrease Housewife’s and increase employment. He also persuaded the Chinese National Bank to buy the Nation debt, after that he made Yen Chia-Yen (President of the Chinese National Bank) Minister of Finance if he erased the Debt. He also Implemented Universal Healthcare for everyone who worked or was under the age of 18, Disabled people of course were also given Healthcare. He increased Veterans, Retired and Disabled people’s Pensions.

The Hainan Crisis:[]

On the 5, of July 1965 the French Prime Minister made Hainan a French State. Then both sides realized that they both claimed the Island. Even the Islanders were split, a week later the French Prime Minister demands that the Chinese give the the Island. Zongren denies them only 17 minutes later. On the 15, May the French Prime Minister asks to pay them. Yen beg Zongren to agree but he says no, after a month French Tanks are seen over a hill on the Island. Zongren then sends 5.000 men to counter, a man steps out of the tank saying they will fire. The Chinese get in shooting position, apparently it was a bluff by the Prime Minister. Then Li sends 100.000 men to take Vietnam, the French Prime Minister folds the Island to the Chinese and resigned shortly after.
